| The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs came to us after partnering with Agilex Technologies (a leading Government systems integration service provider) to create a complex mobile and tablet experience that would extend the core capabilities of the VistA electronic health record (EHR) system.We were totally up to the challenge, as we understand how vital it is that these technologies work seamlessly for clinical institutions. We wanted this app to be able to evaluate strategies and technologies, effectively providing clinicians with secure, on-demand access to clinical information through Apple’s iPad platform.
How did we accomplish this? It wasn’t easy. We developed the app to include real-time health record information to physicians and patients allowing for less paper work and more time spent with patients. We included on-demand access to patients’ medical history such as demographics, laboratory data, medications, allergies, and appointments making information faster, easier, and more robust. Finally, we integrated clinical calendars, secure messaging, streamlined scheduling, and better information exchange The end result is an app that has everything a clinician needs directly at their finger tips with greater information depth and less paperwork. This incredibly easy to understand and navigate app provides a generous user experience with minimal guesswork allowing for easy of operation. |
