Mobilizing Amtrak
Rider AppLet’s face it, travel can be a hassle. Fortunately, companies like Amtrak want to improve that experience for travelers by making things easier and more accessible. When they came to us after partnering up with Agilex Technologies (a leading Government systems integration service provider) to create a comprehensive app allowing travelers to utilized their mobile technologies more effectively while on the go, we were more than willing to develop a solution. We conjured up an app with our usual technical wizardry allowing users a higher degree of convenience. Now travelers are able to purchase tickets, check the latest arrival and departure times, and view the most up to date schedules all on the go. Without having to lug around a laptop, call in, or find the nearest front desk clerk, travelers now have a convenient, easy-to-use way to access all of the information they need on the go. In addition to their mobile device being able to handle the same functionality as the Amtrak website or a front desk clerk, travelers are also able to make changes to reservations booked in the application or through Amtrak.com in the last minute, search station locations, amenities, and hours of operation and easily obtain directions using Google Maps. This clean, crisp, easy-to-use app is incredibly intuitive to use making it easy, fast, and fun for travelers to take care of their immediate needs concerning Amtrak travel while on the go, no matter where they are. |
