| As a Senior Designer, you will lead design projects across all channels and be responsible for understanding our client’s business and project goals, translating them into unique and thoughtful interactive experiences. The Senior Designer will work with interaction designers and developers to implement visual design concepts into pixel-perfect, bullet-proof user interfaces that demonstrate a solid understanding of where visual design, interaction design, information architecture and technology come together to create smart, compelling and usable experiences across channels and devices.You will also provide direction for other project team designers while demonstrating leadership in concept development, be able to sell those concepts to clients with excitement and enthusiasm while defending design decisions with a solid understanding of available technologies, user expectations, industry expertise and trends. The work you will present will show innovative and appropriate navigation systems, solid typography, iconography, effective storytelling, an understanding of color theory with a meticulous attention to detail.If you’re the right fit, you’ll share the belief that form is as important as function. - 5-7 years experience in interactive design for mobile, web and software, with the last three years in a senior creative role.
- A stellar portfolio that shows creative range and innovative thinking.
- Superior communication and client management skills. If you can’t speak to it, you can’t sell it.
- Passion for design and the evolution of the interactive user experience.
- Solid understanding of design principles and how they apply to the interactive space. Understanding of the nuances of UI design for mobile and desktop application.
- Thorough understanding of current UI presentation-layer technologies.
- Ability to produce great work in short timeframes, manage time efficiently while multi-tasking across different projects and clients.
- Ambitious, proactive, conceptual and honest.
